On Sunday, December 05, in the afternoon, two Thai people drowned on the beach at Khanom.
Tesco/Lotus Opens 24 Hour Mini-Market in Khanom

The new Tesco/Lotus opened in Khanom last week in Bang Node, near the 7/11.
Tesco Lotus Supermarket Operations Director Tanatat Veeravitayases said the new market will feature many of the same products as in the Tesco Lotus hypermarkets.
Tesco Lotus announced that over 90 per cent of the staff were hired locally. The company will also be paying property taxes and signage taxes into the local community of over 1 million THB per year. Tesco Lotus employs over 36,000 people nationwide. The market is open 24/7.
Basically, it’s a nice place to shop for vegetables and such at 2 in the morning.
